![]() That was the type of rich that this girl was.Īlso, only super rich people curled up their lip like this girl was doing. There was no doubt in Lisa's mind that this girl was rich - like extremely rich, like even rich people thought she was rich. Or maybe, just maybe, this is what being rich did to people's faces. It made Lisa wonder if she used those fancy beautification charms or had a very lengthy skincare routine. Her skin practically glowed and it looked so smooth and soft. She was a little shorter than Lisa was, with jet-black hair and.clearly she had won the genetic lottery. She knew that it wasn't nice to stare but Lisa couldn't help but do it because, in all honesty, this was the prettiest girl she had ever seen. A girl stepped into the room and Lisa's phone call was forgotten in a moment. "This is not what was agreed."įor a moment, Lisa thought about ignoring it but turned to glance over there if only to quell her curiosity. "Everything's good," Hayley replied," Bam misses his big sister of course but its nothing that the little man can't handle and-" "Big," Lisa admitted," But smaller than Hogwarts - I'm sure that I'll get around perfectly fine. "He's sulking," Hayley informed her curtly," Now, what is the school like?" "Yes, yes and no," Lisa laughed," What did you do to Dad?" How was the flight? Did they pick you up at the airport? Have you met your roommate yet?" "Give me the phone! No- Give- Hand it over! Hello, sweetheart. "Marco.?" Lisa smiled at the voice of Hayley. "You made it!" His voice was staticky on the other line but Lisa could still pick up what was being said. ![]() Not wanting to dwell on that little fact, Lisa pulled at her phone and called her father. That would be preferable than having to share wardrobe space with some rich girl - because, yes, Lisa reminded herself, Beauxbatons was where all the Wizarding nobility from all over the world sent their kids to be schooled. Lisa almost wished she was back at Hogwarts where her bad decisions followed her around. ![]() She glanced around the rest of them room before she felt a sinking feeling in her stomach. Picking one of the beds at random, Lisa slumped onto it. She breathed a sigh of relief when she noticed there was only one other bed in the room - no more sharing a room with four other girls. "Thanks," She murmured to the staff member as she entered her dorm room, shutting the door behind her. The goodbyes to her family and friends (Irene was left out of it) had been painful but Lisa had assured them all that she would text and call them all when she had time. He had shut up after that and Hayley had burst out laughing. He had been annoyed at her for doing it without his permission but she shot back that she had skipped the rebel phase of her childhood and it was better that she applied for a scholarship without permission rather than doing drugs. It had been two weeks since she had given her Dad the letter that told her she had earned a full scholarship for her two years at the school. Sweeping arches made of marble and expensive statues and paintings lined the walls and Lisa could not help but feel out of place as one of the groundskeepers led her up to the dorm house and showed her to her room. In fact, it far outstripped her expectations while also reminding her of the fact that she was probably the poorest person in the entire school. Beauxbatons was nothing like Lisa thought it would be.
